Talking to Kids About Tool Safety
If you are quite the handyman or handywoman and you have a number of tools in your possession, it is your responsibility to make sure that they are kept away from your little children. Aside from storing them in a safe place, it also helps if you have a talk with your kids about the dangers of playing with heavy-duty tools. Cite a few examples and ask them nicely to avoid playing with dangerous objects. By talking to them like responsible adults, they will feel encouraged to give their full cooperation.
